Safety Erik Coleman is not fully recovered after he was injured in week 3, in a game against the Buffalo Bills. He also missed the game against the Giants, although he trained in almost full capacities Friday before the game. During that week he was dressed with a red jersey, which made him a “no-contact” player in the practice plays.
Coleman said, just like any pro player, that is very hard for him to sit on that bench and watch your team play without you.
He expects to play against the Philadelphia Eagles and hopes the concussion that appeared after his game on 30th of September won’t bother him any long.
Second-year safety Eric Smith stepped in as the starter last week and had 12 tackles, including five solo. Smith was listed as questionable with a thigh injury, but is expected to get the start if Coleman can’t go.
