The New England Patriots defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-20 in Foxboro, Mass. on Saturday evening. This propels the Patriots into the AFC Championship Game where they will host either the San Diego Chargers or Indianapolis Colts next Sunday on CBS.
Patriots QB Tom Brady was 26 of 28 for 262 yards and three TD’s.

It was over when, Jaguars WR Dennis Northcutt dropped a potential third-down touchdown pass in the third quarter, preventing Jacksonville from matching the Patriots point-for-point.
The game was played in good weather. Unlike the Packers Vs. Seahawks game the weather in New England was not a factor at all.
The Jaguars jumped on the Patriots early being the first team all year to have a beginning drive and get score a touchdown. New England answered with a drive own there on to tie it up at 7.
The Pats took a 14-7 lead and on the next kick off Jones Drew had trouble picking up the ball and the drive for the Jags started at there own 5 yard line. The Jaguars drove 95 yards and capped it off with a 6 yard pass from Garrard to Ernest Wilford which tied the game up at 14-14. The second half and Jacksonville could not keep up with the Patriots, as Wes Welker and Benjamin Watson scored and help win the game for New England who out scored the Jaguars in the second half 17-6.
