Buffalo Bills head-coach Dick Jauron announced on tuesday that his team will start next game against Miami with quarterback J.P.Losman.

Following an injury suffered by backup Qb Trent Edwards, J.P.Losman, who helped his team defeat the Bengals in week 9, will also start for the game in Miami, against division rivals Dolphins. Although Losman had a 0-3 start, he has produced the plays that helped Bills win last two games, when he replaced injured rookie Edwards. J.P. Losman ( a fourth year veteran), has been on a roll since getting his second chance, and after fearing he might never get an opportunity to win back his job as starter quarterback. Losman’s 295 yards passing, in sunday’s victory over the Bengals, was a season-high for the Bills, and most in 14 games.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Travaris Jackson who was injured after scrambling on a play and taking a hit to the head as he dived to the turf, could miss his team’s next game in Green Bay as he’s dealing with a concussion. Although several MRIs showed that his situation is improving, the Vikings organisation is thinking in adding a new quarteback at the team, as Jackson’s backup Qb Kelly Holcomb is still recovering from a whiplash injury two weeks ago against the Eagles. Coach Brad Childress is also expecting WR Troy Williamson to return to practice after missing last week and sunday’s game, dealing with the death of his grandmother.

Miami Dolphins will stick with QB Cleo Lemon, though voices in the city says that the struggling team should let rookie John Beck play. On Monday, coach Cam Cameron gave Lemon the nod over Beck for Sunday’s game against Buffalo. Beck is a second round draft choice, the highest pick used by the Miami Dolphins on a quarterback since they acquired Dan Marino in 1983. There was plenty of local lobbying in print and on talk shows for the promotion of Beck, but coach Cameron says he’ll stick with Lemon for at least another week.

NFL comissioner Roger Goodell reiteraited that he still hasn’t changed his mind about allowing suspended Titans cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones to play this season. The two met in New York last week, when Adam Jones pleaded for some leniency and an early return. The commissioner told Jones his suspension will last through this season, which would include the playoffs if the Titans (6-2) qualify. The suspension followed a Las Vegas strip club fight Feb. 19, in which police accused Jones of inciting a fight inside, that led to a triple shooting outside, that left one man paralyzed.
