Just when his team hit the bye-week, WR Andre Johnson returned to practice.

Texans welcomed the bye-week, as several players have been injured and this time off comes just well for recovering, but they also welcomed back their Pro-Bowl WR Andre Johnson, who missed last seven games due to a sprained knee. With his health in order, Johnson will have to wait for a week before playing again a game in the league. “I can’t wait for the bye to be over with so I can get back on the field and play a game,” Johnson said. Before this season, Johnson missed only three games in his four-year career. The Texans started the season strong, winning their first two games behind big performances by Johnson. Injuries and turnovers have since taken their toll, and they lost three of their last four to drop to 4-5. And allthough Johnson missed seven games, Houston found a way to replace him, as their passing game was a good one, WRs Kevin Walter and Andre Davis making big plays, to fill in the gap.

Houston will also welcome back QB Matt Schaub, as his return for nov.18 game against New Orleans is most likely to happen. Yet, the Texans have to due without CB Dunta Robinson, as he is out for the season after tearing a ligament in his knee and injuring his hamstring in Sunday’s win over Oakland. The injury may force coach Kubiak to move starting free safety Von Hutchins to the position, as the team has only three cornerbacks healthy for the rest of the season.

Troubles continues for RB Ahman Green, as his bruised left knee is slowly recovering, coach Kubiak sending the veteran back to Alabama to have second opinion. The Texans have to rely on RB Ron Dayne, a former Heismann trophy winner, out of Wisconsin, who had 122 yards and a touchdown against the Raiders.
